It is very unlikely the colour of the water is due to pollution from Chernobyl as the fallout of the reactor destruction was mainly carried north to Baltic sea…very little was ever carried southwards to Danube, atleast not enaugh to change a rivers colour to brown
The brown color most likely comes from the leaves that have fallen from the deciduous trees. There is a chemical pigment within leaves called tannin which is brown that is absorbed into the water as the fallen leaves break down and deteriorate. The other chemical pigments such as xanthophyll,(yellow) carotene,(orange) and anthocyanin,(red) when combined lead to a brown color.

Don’t you notice how high in the mountains this is? There is no pollution, just muddy water.
It’s not so high. I just shoot this photo minutes after sunrise and there was a fog.

its not muddy its reflective thats why it seems muddy fog and brown trees.

It is not certain when the bridge was built, with various sources stating from the 14th to the early 17th century.
wikipedia is not as reliable as people may think as a fact gathering source. the reason is that anyone can edit the information on it.
